COMMITTEES EMBARK ON ANNUAL REPORT PROCESS FOR THE 2021/2022 FINANCIAL YEAR

The mandate of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature (GPL) is to conduct oversight and facilitate public participation in matters of the Gauteng Provincial Government. In this regard the GPL through its Oversight Committees will be scrutinising the annual reports of the Office of the Premier, Gauteng Provincial Legislature and the
Department of Roads and Logistics for the 2021/22 financial year ending 31 March 2022.

The focus of the scrutiny is to consider the extent to which the listed offices and the department have met their annual performance targets and fulfilled their public financial accountability as required by the Public Audit Act, 2004 [Act 25 of 2004].

The Oversight Committee on the Premier’s Office and the Legislature (OCPOL) led by Hon. Bonginkosi Dhlamini will conduct its meeting on Thursday, 3 November 2022. The Hon. Gregory Schneemann will also lead the Portfolio Committee on Roads and Logistics oversight meeting on Friday, 4 November 2022.
