The Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development Portfolio Committee is in the process of considering Budget MTEF Allocation for the 26/27 FY and 4th Quarterly Performance Reports for 25/26 FY of the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
As part of oversight and scrutiny, the Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development Committee from the Gauteng Provincial Legislature will be convening a committee meeting to deliberate and analyse the performance of the Department with respect to its financial and non-financial performance. The Executive Authority will also be responding and giving account on all matters raised by the Committee. This is with the aim of strengthening oversight and ensuring that accountability is provided by the Executive Authority.
