ROADS AND TRANSPORT PORTFOLIO COMMITTEE FOLLOWS UP WITH DEPARTMENT IN A COMMITTEE MEETING

The Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Roads and Transport will host the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport (GDRT) on 2 June 2022 at the Magaliesburg Community Hall in Krugersdorp at 10H00.

GDRT is expected to provide responses to Committee questions on the 4th Quarter Report for 2021/22 financial year and present to the committee progress reports on the appointment of new subsidised bus contracts; the backlog on the renewal of expired driving licenses in the province; and lastly, the Transport Infrastructure House progress for the fourth quarter of 2021/22 financial year. .
