Welcome to the Gauteng Provincial Legislature website. GPL is one of nine provincial legislatures in South Africa and is constitutionally mandated to pass legislation, provide a forum for public debate, involve the public in the law-making process, and oversee the activities of the provincial executive.
We frequently have outreach programs to connect with the citizens of Gauteng province. The theme this month is Women’s Month and we are putting women and issues affecting women in the foreground.
