As part of implementing the Gauteng Provincial Legislature’s (GPL) oversight mandate, GPL Committees have recently undertaken a process of assessing performance of the Provincial Government Departments and the GPL for the 2020/2021 financial year. During this time Portfolio and Standing Committees review the Auditor General findings; as well as performance reports of Provincial Government Departments and their entities. Based on this assessment, Committees engaged Departments in order to probe further on certain performance factors; as well as made recommendations aimed at improving overall service delivery in the province.
The Committees’ performance assessment of Departments and their Entities for the 2020/2021 financial year takes the form of panel discussions to be held on Power FM. See details of the broadcasts, as well as the confirmed panelists below.
