The GPL Men’s Forum will host a virtual gender-based violence seminar in partnership with Jozi FM on Wednesday, 29 July 2020, under the theme ‘Banna ha re bueng’.
The webinar is necessitated by the alarming rise in cases of violence directed at women and children, rape and femicides since lockdown started. Women and children are trapped with abusers – unable to escape or reach out for help.
The men of GPL through the Men’s Forum are committed to get men talking about men challenges that lead to abusive behaviour, and together – through the platform of a virtual seminar – explore solutions to end violence and abuse in our communities.
All men are invited to take part in the discussion.
