CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS ON THE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT BILL OF 2023

The Finance Portfolio Committee of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature will consider the Public Procurement Bill [B18B – 2023] that was tabled by the Minister of Finance on 30 June 2023. The Chairperson of the Finance Portfolio Committee, Hon. Paul Malema, invites persons and organizations to make written and/or verbal submissions on the Bill.

The Public Procurement Bill [B18B – 2023] aims to regulate public procurement; to prescribe a framework within which preferential procurement must be implemented; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

All interested stakeholders and organisations are invited to give their inputs using the following options:

• Attend a public hearing scheduled as follows;
