The Gauteng Police Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Elias Mawela will on Thursday, 23 November 2023 brief Members of the Provincial Legislature on the Province’s crime statistics for the second quarter of the 2023/24 financial year.
Lieutenant General Mawela’s report will largely focus on Gauteng’s crime statistics in the period: July to September 2023.
The various Metro Police Departments in the Province will also appear before the Portfolio Committee on Community Safety to present their performance reports for the 1st Quarter of their current financial year.
