[MEDIA STATEMENT] ACCIDENT EN ROUTE TO PWD SECTOR FEEDBACK SESSION
Honourable Ntombi Mekgwe, has expressed words of support to eight (8) GPL stakeholders who met a road accident yesterday, 17 March 2022, while being transported to the feedback session for the 2021 Sector Parliament for Persons with Disabilities.

The Committee made these oversight visits to ensure the implementation of the Gauteng Provincial Road Traffic Amendment Regulations for 2020, as required by law and also to assess how COVID 19 has impacted on the department. The meeting with the department enabled the committee to question the current and past challenges faced by the staff at licensing centres and community members.
