On Thursday 19 October 2023, OCPOL (the Legislature’s Oversight Committee on the Premier’s Office & the Legislature) will convene a Roundtable discussion with Persons with Disabilities. This discussion seeks to engage companies owned by People with disabilities in order to ascertain where the challenges may be, in ensuring that these businesses are able to compete in procurement opportunities within the Office of the Premier.

Furthermore. Chairperson Hon. Bonginkosi Dhlamini and Members of the committee aim to discuss overall findings from a previously conducted survey which speaks to this matter and also solicit more input from invited stakeholders.

Stakeholders in attendance will also have an opportunity to receive the presentation of the preliminary findings of the earlier conduced survey which some had participated in and will also have an opportunity to give their input directly to Members of the committee.
