The Gauteng Provincial Legislature’s Health & Wellness Portfolio Committee is holding public hearings on the National Health Insurance Bill. The purpose of these hearings is to make sure that stakeholders from across Gauteng have a chance to play a part in the shaping the Bill into its final form. This is so that we can be sure that the Bill represents everyone. Led by Chairperson Hon. Rebecca Phaladi-Digamela, the Committee will hold public hearings in Tshwane and in the West Rand in October. Interested individuals, groups and communities are invited to join the sessions and make inputs on the Bill. Share your comments and concerns.

The first National Health Insurance Bill hearing will be held on Friday, 20 October 2023 at Laudium Civic Centre in Tshwane at 09h00 (directions to Laudium Civic Centre).

The second National Health Insurance Bill hearing will be held on Tuesday, 24 October 2023 at Mogale City Centenary Hall in the West Rand District at 09h00 (directions to Mogale City Centenary Hall).
