Gauteng Police Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Elias Mawela will on Tuesday, 23 November 2021 at 13h00 present the province’s 2nd Quarterly Crime Statistics for the 2021/22 FY to the Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Community Safety.

The Provincial Police Commissioner will provide an account particularly focusing on the number of crimes committed in Gauteng during the period of (July-September 2021)

The statistics will also pay particular attention to the crimes committed during the violent unrest that sparked the province during the month of July 2021.
