The Petitions Standing Committee convened a meeting led by Hon. Vuyiswa Jentile. Part of today’s meeting was to close several petitions.
These petitions were subjected to fair and thorough assessments, including administrative reviews, joint oversight visits, and internal hearings with the relevant authorities and departments. The matters raised have been fully addressed in accordance with the Petitions Act and its regulations, and no further action is deemed necessary.
Formal communication will be sent to the Petitioners, who retain the right to appeal the closure decision of the Petitions Standing Committee.
