The NCOP Provincial Week will be hosted by Gauteng Provincial Legislature from of 12–16 September Provincial Week is intended to enable the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) an opportunity to follow up on commitments made in the delivery of education and healthcare services to the communities and 2016.
Focus of the Provincial Week 12-16 September 2016
To ascertain the progress that South Africa is making in meeting the commitments made in the National Development Plan.
What is NCOP Provincial Week?
Provincial Week is one of the programmes of the NCOP aimed at affording the Gauteng Provincial Legislature (GPL) delegation to NCOP as well as Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs) an opportunity to interact with the public in the Province, to get first-hand experience of the issues facing the public on the ground and to also be able to take provincial matters into the national agenda.
