How will you be volunteering in your community?
On 18 July 2016, the Provincial Speaker Hon. Ntombi Mekgwe will lead Gauteng Provincial Legislature as we join the world in honouring the former statesman’s birthday by lending support to four Community Centres in Ekurhuleni in recognition of Nelson Mandela’s contribution and service to humanity.
There is no better way to celebrate Mandela’s birthday than by investing our energies in initiatives that uphold his legacy of non-racialism, social justice and doing good.
In light of the above, we will be visiting four Community Centres in Ekurhuleni to provide support by donating blankets and socks to make winter easier, painting and planting trees around the facilities.
