The Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Infrastructure Development Honourable Lindi Lasindwa has today on behalf of the Committee welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (GDID) and the Moral Regeneration Movement (MRM). The MOU is aimed at intensifying GDID’s #iCareWeCare campaign.
The campaign seeks to raise awareness about the consequences of the destruction of public property that has been sweeping through the province and the country, leaving many communities deprived of key social infrastructure. The campaign encourages citizens of Gauteng to sign a pledge and committing to join hands to protect public property. Members of the Portfolio Committee has also taken part in this campaign by signing the pledge
