GPL HOSTS 2015 WOMEN’S PARLIAMENT Wednesday, 26th August 2015 at 10h00,  Munsieville Sports Complex, West Rand Region, Mogale City Local Municipality.

The Gauteng Provincial Legislature (GPL) will host the 2015 Sector Parliament for Women under the theme: ‘Gauteng Women celebrating 21 years of a Democratic Legislature’. Women’s Parliament will be led by the Standing Committee on Oversight on the Premier's Office and the Legislature (OCPOL). This year’s Women’s Parliament seeks to give women a platform to raise their concerns and to fully understand that they are the masters of their own destiny. It also gives Women a chance to network and learn from others who have been “out there” working tirelessly for the community.

Topics to be discussed include:

· The role of women as key participants in key sectors of the economy
· National development plan and its impact on women
· Young women and focus on science profession
· Women in Farming
